Yoga Massage & Therapies

Introduction to the technique and Yoga Massage Session

Our bodies often express what our minds cannot handle feeling, or knowing. This is called psychogenic pain – when physical pain is linked to emotional stress. Whether that is back pain, shoulder pain, or neck pain, the mind is a powerful contributor to the aches we experience. For example, irritability and inappropriate anger can impinge liver function, headache, redness of the face and eyes, dizziness and dry mouth. People with depression and anxiety may report experiencing tension and tightness all over their bodies.

The holistic and therapeutic Yoga Massage that I share, uses a fusion of Thai and Hawaiian bodywork with Chinese Meridians and Yoga. It combines asanas (postures), pranayama(breathwork), meditation, acupressure, stretching, massage, sound healing, aromatherapy, reiki and affirmation, allowing the body to release stress and tension, and to let go of emotional trauma, old wounds and patterns. This facilitates the client to re-set and re-direct the flow of energy, leading to restoration and balance.
